How It Works

HydaFacial use's a special device with a hand-held nozzle to cleanse, exfoliate, extract, and hydrate your skin. Unlike traditional facials, where an esthetician uses their hands for extractions, HydraFacial uses a painless suction tip to remove blackheads, dirt, and other impurities from your pores. This technology-driven approach is said to provide a more consistent and deeper clean than a traditional facial.

The treatment typically starts with a gentle peel to remove dead skin cells, allowing for better penetration of nourishing ingredients in the following steps. Then, the esthetician will use the HydraFacial device to deliver hydrating serums with hyaluronic acid and other nourishing ingredients to plump and hydrate your skin.

Pre-Treatment

- We suggest stopping any active skincare products that contain retinol, tretinoin, AHA's, and BHA's at least 5 days before your appointment.
- Don't wax or shave up to 24 hours before a facial.
Avoid sunbathing and tanning beds at least one week before your treatment.

Post-Treatment

- Do not apply any makeup for at least 24 hours after your treatment.

- Avoid vigorous workouts, saunas, and applying heat or hot water to the skin.
- Avoid your active products for at least up to 48 hours.

- Try not to touch your skin with your hands, and wash or change your pillowcase.

- Avoid tanning and extreme sun exposure; you may apply mineral-based SPF.

- Do not wax or shave for at least 3–5 days.

- Post-treatment sensitivity may occur due to some of the modalities, this is normal!
